|
Internet Access in Meeting Rooms Most of the meeting spaces located in the residential unit complexes are wired for networking. Before connecting to the Internet, you must be registered on our network. To register your computer for use we need to know the Ethernet Adapter address of all computers that will be in use. Complete instructions are provided below. Ethernet Access in Meeting Rooms To view a complete list of rooms with available Ethernet access, please check the inventory for your residential unit complex. You can find your Ethernet Adapter address by following the instructions in our Finding Your Ethernet Address Infocard. Once you have determined your address, please relay this information to your Conference Coordinator, who will work with a Residential Computing Technical Coordinator to get your address registered. Please allow at least two days to process your request. In addition to registering your Adapter Address, you will also need to make sure your computer is properly configured to receive an IP address through Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). You can configure your computer easily with the assistance of our Configuring Your Computer for DHCP Infocard. If you need further assistance, please notify your Conference Coordinator to contact a Technical Coordinator. Rates
Network connection fees are in addition to the regular room rental costs. Fees include assistance in getting your Ethernet Adapter address registered and your computer configured to DHCP.
