Conference guests at UC Berkeley enjoy meals served in our award-winning residential dining facilities as part of their package plan. Unlimited servings, and a variety of specialty entrees, side dishes, salads, and desserts guarantee there is something for every guest at every meal. All meals are planned by our Executive Chef and registered dieticians, and include balanced options for vegan, vegetarian, and heart-smart guests.
A minimum number of guests is required for dining services to operate at each residence hall complex. The minimum is 100 guests at Clark Kerr Campus, Foothill and Café 3 and 200 guests at Crossroads (serving Unit 1 and 2). This number may be attained in combination with other conferences.
Cal has an award-winning residential dining program featuring four dining commons for your convenience.
Each location has its own executive chef who creates seasonal menus based on product seasonality and guest input. The unique menus feature a variety of delicious and healthy menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner which may include traditional favorites as well as ethnic specialties. In addition, vegetarian and vegan selections are always offered.
